Since it’s still about 95 degrees in the shade here in Jacksonville, I’m spending as much time indoors as possible this weekend.
This afternoon’s quick and easy (indoor) project was making pillows for the futon in our living room. I hope to replace the futon with a lovely sectional one of these days, but until then, I’m content to dress up what we have. I’ve made dozens of envelope pillows at this point, and they’re still one of my favorite sewing projects. It’s nearly instant gratification because they come together so quickly and easily.
I wrote about this fabric a few weeks ago. I love it! It’s beachy but not cheesy and funky but not silly.
It is also Hamlet-approved!
It’s time for me to get back to doing nothing. I think I’m sweating just from taking these photos. It’s too hot to move!
