Cocktail Napkins

The last time I saw Mom before Christmas, she gave me quite a bit of leftover fabric. I wanted to use it to make something for her, preferably something she could use for the holiday. Mom and I both love cloth napkins, and I thought cocktail napkins would be perfect for her, since she likes to entertain.

I cut as many 6″ squares as I could get out of the fabric. I followed the instructions in this tutorial, and it was perfect.  This is such an easy project.

I wound up with a total of 29 napkins, which was mildly annoying. I wanted a nice, round 30! Anyway, they’re lovely, and I was so pleased to be able to use what Mom gave me to make a gift for her.
